My film fits within the ethos of this
institution because they create films with very large budgets and they employ
very well know and highly desired actors as well as directors for example
directors such as Christopher Nolan and Alfred Hitchcock and actors such as Leonardo
DiCaprio and Ben Affleck. I can see an advert being placed on the Warner
Brothers website which would contain good visuals which would attract an
audience as well as inform them about the tone and mood of the film as well as
contain conventions of the thriller genre so that it would attract an audience
who would enjoy that type of film. Another way to advertise the film would be
to create a viral video which could be put on many different forms of social
media as this would attract an audience’s attention, and social media is very
good way of gaining an audience’s attention and spreading the word about the
film, however this would not provide an income for Warmer Brothers as it would
not make money. I believe that my film would fit in well with the ethos of
Warner Brothers because my film would look the most effective and encaptivating
for an audience if it was given a big budget and could use a big named director
and actors.
I believe that my thriller film would provide
Warner Brothers with a great opportunity to make money if the film was to be
successful. My thriller film would be shown in chain cinemas all around the
world as this would increase the money being made, in contrast to having it
shown at independent cinemas. I would also have it released on DVD as this
would also increase the money being made and in today’s society. I believe that
it would also be a good idea to have it available to pay to download on laptops
and tablets from websites such as iTunes and amazon video as this way, although
the audiences are accessing the films online, they are still paying to view it,
which will increase the money being made.
An excellent post. You have made this very visual, while also presenting your detailed research effectively and clearly. You choices are clear, and elaborate upon your own thriller. Well done.
