Thankfully we received a letter from the record company who owns the track saying that they give us permission to use the track for non-commercial usage and just for assessment purposes and it is only to be viewed by members of the school community. This technically means that we have been given the rights to use the track for our music video.
This is really good news as it means that we can proceed to use the track and make our music video. We will have to think carefully and consider the best way that we are going to share our final product with audiences as to ensure that it remains private and follows the requirements that the record company have given us.
