Editing 10

During today's editing session we started off by reviewing our progress from the previous session and showing Evelyn what Chris and I had done during the previous session and showing her the changes that we had made.

The next thing that we did was we made a note for the other production groups who use the same computer as us and we told them that we are using the computer tomorrow from 3:00 until 6:00 as Evelyn wants to do some more editing and so we left them a note to tell them about this so that they are aware that we will be using the computer at this time.

As I mentioned in the previous post, we them stayed on target and continued to cut Oriana's tap section for the transition utilizing the blade tool which allowed us to cut all of these shots. In addition, we also used the insert and over right tool which allowed us to take out certain sections of a clip and just use certain sections of a take and this helped us to just use the sections of footage that we wanted to use.

We continued to work on the transition section and we started to progress with this into the futuristic section, but we didn't get very far with the futuristic section. I think that the plan is that Evelyn is going to continue editing on Thursday afternoon as we have planned and she will continue to edit the futuristic section.
