Editing 11

During today's editing session we discussed introducing the futuristic element earlier on within the video such as introducing snippets of it throughout the video in order to give a hint as to what it coming up after the transition section. This worked well as it helped to link the 1920's section and futuristic section. 

We also started the futuristic section which was around 30 seconds long and we started to cut the clips for this section alternating between the musicians and dancers. After this we started to discuss adding the scientist into the futuristic section so that when he pops up during the lip sync section at the end of the futuristic section it isn't the first time we see him and this also helped us to make the futuristic section look smooth and flow well.  

Another thing that we did during today's editing session was cut the remaining 1920's clips in half when the futuristic section started and we deleted the parts that we don't need. This helped us to make the timeline cleaner and eliminate any clips that were going to be useless within the futuristic section.

Additionally, we also added in the tap sections into the futuristic section so that we could echo out the transition and this worked really well as it made the start for the video more dynamic as it didn't just focus on the 1920's element.
