Chris and I spent an hour in the edit suite today trying to add in extra shots to our pre-existing order to speed up the cut and make the shots move faster.
We did this by watching through the cut and discovering moments that would be appropriate to add in more shots and therefore speed up the edit.
One of the ways in which we were able to achieve this was through adding in snippets of Oriana's tap section throughout the 1920's element in order to introduce the transition and futuristic section before it actually comes in.
After we did this we started to edit the transition section which is dominated by Oriana's tap section and this is going to aid us in moving from the 1920's jazz club to the futuristic club. During this section we want to achieve a fast editing speed throughout this sections and cut very sharply between each of the shots in order to provide variation within our video.
The next step is to continue editing Oriana's tap section and working on the transition and possibly introduce the futuristic element in the next session.
